Witchlands Blog Tour- The Witchlands Box Set

“If you wanted to, Safiya, you could bend and shape the world.” ― Susan Dennard, Truthwitch

Hello Everyone,

My favorite fantasy series of all time is having a cover glow up. It's an emotional day for beloved readers, as you know that some cover changes happen to series after the first book, or second book, or even after the series is completed. Some cover changes are great, some that confuse me, add nothing to contribute to the books or covers that readers will jump ship. Literally. I have a love/hate relationship with them because my heart is set on OG covers, it's hard to win me over to love them. However, when I saw the snippets of these new covers, my heart ate it up.

The covers are a glow up !! The cover has this intoxicating entrance that will pull new readers in. It screams bewitching gem! This box set will include the new covers designed by Cliff Nielsen, who had previously done the cover for Bloodwitch and a shiny intricate map of the Witchlands designed by Jessica Khoury. Another perk I discovered when I got my box in the mail is that the cardboard used is not flimsy or will break the second you slide the gorgeous books out from their protection. Yes, I am that reader who will judge the type of cardboard used. Half the cost of the box set is paying for that extra piece of paper to wrap around the books to protect them.

When I say that The Witchland series is one of my favorite books of all time, I mean it. The series is part of me. The books have arrived in my arms when I needed to escape for a couple of hours into a space of vibrant imaginative world-building, ruthless politics, epic adventure, slooooowwwww ( very slow) burning romance and epic friendships. It mashes witches, anti-heroes, pirates, dragons, and monsters into a world you’ll want to inhabit forever. The Witchlands series looks overwhelming, but I promise you that the world untangles itself with the characters walking through it.

Thank you Adriyanna ( from Life Writings of a Reader ) for hosting this blog tour! Thank you, Katie( My Way By Starlight) for creating the Witchland blog tour Banners!

The fan-art that I created I did way back when Bloodwitch released. I made a double layer chocolate cake with a Seafox on top. It was very rich and delicious !... the cake, not the paper drawing of the sea fox. I am not a monster.

Signing out,

In a continent on the edge of war, two witches hold its fate in their hands. Young witches Safiya and Iseult have a habit of finding trouble. After clashing with a powerful Guildmaster and his ruthless Bloodwitch bodyguard, the friends are forced to flee their home. Safi must avoid capture at all costs as she's a rare Truthwitch, able to discern truth from lies. Many would kill for her magic, so Safi must keep it hidden - lest she be used in the struggle between empires. And Iseult's true powers are hidden even from herself. In a chance encounter at Court, Safi meets Prince Merik and makes him a reluctant ally. However, his help may not slow down the Bloodwitch now hot on the girls' heels. All Safi and Iseult want is their freedom, but danger lies ahead. With war coming, treaties breaking and a magical contagion sweeping the land, the friends will have to fight emperors and mercenaries alike. For some will stop at nothing to get their hands on a Truthwitch.
