Hello Everyone,
I am just finishing unpacking from my four- day trip to Toronto to attend The Ontario Library Association Super Conference 2017. This was my second time going to the conference and volunteering. However, my first time I went for the whole thing. It was an amazing and overwhelming experience. The field of Library science is very tiny. Everyone seems to know everyone and that why I think I found this conference so useful because you can meet people in your field who can potential be your employer, acquaintance and/or mentor. I am really grateful for all the wonderful people I've met this time and for those who I have met before. If you do not know what OLA is; its a non-profit organization of six Ontario Library Associations of Canada. The conference happens once a year to bring together all members of OLA to a four day conference of sessions, key note speakers, Expos and much more. I highly suggest if you are in the field of library science should be a member and join others for the conference. Now, of course I went not only for the academic and social experience but for the books. There were so many great authors I met and books to collect. I am beyond happy and grateful for meeting all the lovely authors and getting to get a ARC of their book. I already began reading some of them, but here is my OLASC book Haul.
